ABOUT THE RESORT
Estrella del Mar is located approximately 10 minutes from the Mazatlan International Airport and 30 minutes from the city of Mazatlan, Mexico, making it one of the most easily accessible resorts to reach for vacation visitors. The resort is ideally situated in a private and gated community along 3.5 miles of beach on the Pacific Ocean. The 800-acre estate is tropically landscaped and impeccably manicured.
For visitors Estrella del Mar offers quaint, quiet, beachfront accommodations. Our Las Villas Hotel features 21 villas offering tranquility and comfort. Choose from rooms, studio suites, or single bedrooms suites. All villas have lovely ocean or garden views and immediate access to the beach. In addition to the abundance of activities that the Mazatlan area offers Estrella del Mar provides unique activities of its own. We have an on site Turtle Preserve dedicated to protecting sea turtles and other precious life. Visitors can tour the facility at no charge and see our turtle pool, iguana pen, and learn more about what we do to preserve our environment.
You will also have access to one of Mexico’s highest rated golf courses. Our 18-hole championship golf course designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Jr. is unquestionably Mazatlan’s finest round of golf. The layout of our course parallels the beachfront with several holes playing along the beach.
